THE FOLLOWING SCHOLARSHIPS ARE OFFERED BY EMPOWERMENT CENTER.
奖学金 are available at different times of the academic year. Please contact our department at (210) 486-0455 to find out when scholarships are available.

梦想美国奖学金

的 国家奖学金 is for students eligible for in-state tuition at one of our 80+ Partner 大学.*

Applications are open to immigrant students with or without DACA or TPS who came to the U.S. before the age of 16 and before Nov. 1, 2018. and qualify for in-state tuition at one of our Partner 大学 to receive this scholarship. We also offer an online college option. 的 Scholarship is for up to $16,500 for an associate’s degree and $33,000 for a bachelor’s degree.

EmpowerME Conference Scholarship

This free Conference provides information on topics such as overcoming fears and gaining confidence in order to reach personal and educational goals. Information on college enrollment, 金融援助, and short-term technical certificate programs as well as personal and professional de­velopment is provided. 奖学金 for fall enrollment provided.*

Mi CASA奖学金

This scholarship program is designed to enhance your leadership skills while helping you pay college expenses such as childcare, 书, 和运输.  You will assist our department by promoting the Mi CASA (Career Advancement & Self-sufficiency Assistance) Program. Services offered through the Mi CASA Program include career development, 工作准备技能, education and computer literacy and diaper bank services.
资格:

  • Resident of the 78212 zip code.
  • Currently enrolled at 圣安东尼奥学院 for at least six credit hours for the Fall semester.
  • Have a current cumulative 2.平均绩点0或更高.
  • Financial 援助 Eligible- 金融援助 has been processed and awarded, not waiting for appeal.
  • 保持2.0 cumulative GPA at the end of fall semester to be eligible to continue in the spring.
